    NPO With Replogle:

    • Infant is taking nothing by mouth for bowel rest and requires placement of Replogle for gastric emptying and decompression
    • Set suction for 40-60 mmHg of pressure
    –  Set for low-intermittent suction unless ordered otherwise
    • Monitor and document output with every care
    • Irrigate Replogle as needed to ensure proper suctioning
    • Replace Replogle and replogle canister every 48 hours
    • Suction tubing expires 2 days; wall canister 7 days
