1. Explain the importance of the anesthesiology team in a trauma response at a Level 1 Trauma Center.
2. Discuss how specific systemic issues in this case lead to difficulty with anesthetic management and how this can be avoided in the future.
3. Recognize common gaps in knowledge with regards to trauma anesthesiology.
4. Consider incorporating trauma anesthesiology into select grand rounds presentations annually to maintain proficiency.
