- This webinar will inform healthcare providers (MD, RN, PA, NP and navigators) on the
decline in screening during the pandemic and the increased need from the change in
screening age, as well as appropriate screening options that include home based tests for
colorectal cancer screening.
Patients are deferring colorectal cancer screenings because Covid19. Patients of average risk
are not being offered screening options for colorectal cancer screening and are not advised
to start screening until they reach age 50. Primary care health care providers are the point of
access to colorectal cancer screening for their patients. Providers will learn how to
determine risk level for colorectal cancers and about screening options. tools. and processes
that can increase screening uptake.
