Why Choose Pediatric Cardiovascular Care at UVa
The Virginia Children's Heart Center
Founded in July 1999, the Virginia Children's Heart Center is a unique, collaboration between the Children's Medical Center and the adult-care Heart Center at UVa -- a state-of-the-art treatment and research facility -- and affiliated, but independent pediatric cardiology practices throughout Charlottesville, Richmond, Roanoke and Bluefield. These practices also run clinics in Winchester, Lynchburg, Harrisonburg, Abingdon, Richlands and Williamsburg.
Together, this network of pediatric cardiologists reaches most children in Virginia. And through UVa's Telemedicine program, the center can provide physician consultations via live video conferences to communities throughout Virginia.
