The UVA Health System Department of Allergy, Asthma and Immunology is conducting a study in patients who have had sinus surgery in the past. We are currently enrolling people in a research study to help us better understand sinusitis.

There are two parts to the study. The first involves completing a consent form and a questionnaire. If you complete these forms, you can receive $25.

The second part involves you coming to the UVa Allergy clinic at Northridge for some additional testing. The tests include allergy skin testing, lung function tests and drawing a small tube of blood. These tests will require a few hours of your time at one visit. If you complete these tests, you will receive $25 per test. So if you complete everything, you can receive $100. Or if you have had these tests done at UVa in the past year, with your permission, we can access your records.

If you are interested in participating in our study, please contact the study investigator Dr. Larry Borish by email at lb4m@virginia.edu or by phone at 434-243-6570. If you have any questions about this study, Dr. Borish can answer them at the contact information above.
