Allergy and Clinical Immunology
UVa offers comprehensive treatment of asthma, as well as allergic and immunologic respiratory and skin diseases including immunodeficiency diseases, respiratory fungal diseases, hay fever and venom sensitivity. UVa's Allergy Laboratory also provides allergy skin testing and treatment.

COPD Center
A specialized team of pulmonary, thoracic surgery, radiology, nursing, respiratory therapy and transplant experts evaluate and treat patients at all stages of chronic obstructive pulmonary disease.  Offerings include comprehensive diagnostics, non-surgical treatment, surgery, pulmonary rehabilitation, patient education and clinical trials. 

Interstitial Lung Disease Center
Provides evaluation of lung diseases such as pulmonary fibrosis, organizing pneumonia, drug-induced lung disease, and non-specific interstitial lung disease. Opportunities are available to participate in studies using emerging drugs.

Lung Transplantation Center
Provides the patient a team approach (pulmonary, thoracic surgery, radiology, nursing, pharmacy and social work experts) to end-stage lung diseases. Success rates mirror or exceed national benchmarks.  

Pulmonary Clinic
Comprehensive evaluation and treatment services for pulmonary and respiratory system diseases, including obstructive and restrictive lung diseases, respiratory failure, sleep-related breathing disorders, lung cancer and occupational lung disease.

Pulmonary Function Laboratory
Offering a comprehensive array of pulmonary function tests, including arterial blood analysis, respiratory muscle function, lung volumes, evaluation of exercise performance and lung and chest wall mechanics.

Pulmonary Hypertension Center
Collaborative approach to the care of patients with primary and secondary pulmonary hypertension through pulmonary, nursing, radiology specialists. Patients have direct access to emerging therapies through clinical studies. 

Sleep Disorders Center
A multidisciplinary team of board-certified specialists in sleep medicine, pulmonary medicine, pediatrics, and internal medicine who work to treat sleep disorders or sleep disorders symptoms.

Sleep Laboratory
State-of-the-art diagnostic tests for sleep-related breathing disorders conducted in an 8-bed sleep laboratory.

Sleep Apnea Support Group
A support group for individuals with sleep apnea and their families.
