UVA Outpatient Imaging Center
Complete diagnostic imaging services are available at convenient and comfortable outpatient center with access to the medical expertise and breadth of services at UVA. With comprehensive diagnostic services including MRI, CT, Ultrasound, X-ray, Fluoroscopy, and Endovenous Ablation and Bone Density Testing.
Breast Imaging
Diagnostic, screening and interventional procedures related to breast imaging, including digital mammography and breast MRI.
Cardiac MR and CT
Full spectrum of diagnostic imaging with MR and CT related to the myocardium, valves, pericardium, coronary arteries and aorta.
Interventional Radiology and Angiography
Services include diagnostic angiography, CT and MR angiography, endovascular therapy for abdominal aortic aneurysm, vascular occlusive disease and venous varicosities; uterine fibroid embolization and radiofrequency ablation; and radioisotope therapy for malignant disease.
Musculoskeletal Radiology
Performs routine and complex diagnostic film reading and procedures relating to the musculoskeletal system.
Neuroradiology
Complete neuroimaging services including CT, MRI, angiography, neurointerventional services, and image-guided biopsies of the spine, head and neck.
Nuclear Medicine
Provides full diagnostic and therapeutic services including radionuclide imaging and functional studies of the kidney, lung, bone, liver, gallbladder, pancreas and thyroid.
Pediatric Radiology
Provides imaging services for children utilizing fluoroscopy, CT, ultrasound, duplex and color Doppler, and MRI, in addition to plain film studies.
Thoraco-Abdominal Radiology
Entire range of imaging, biopsy and nonvascular interventional procedures performed on the chest, abdomen and pelvis.
