Comprehensive care for the multiple-injured patient, including surgical care for all aspects of acute fractures.

Full range of medical and surgical intervention for a variety of foot and ankle injuries and disorders. 

General Orthopaedics
Complete diagnosis and treatment for adults suffering from disease or injury to the musculoskeletal system.

Joint Replacement and Reconstruction
Services include medical joint conservation and/or surgical joint replacement for the hip, knee and shoulder; surgical revisions of failed hip, knee and shoulder replacements; and surgical treatment for abnormalities of joints and extremities.

Musculoskeletal Oncology
Diagnosis with prompt pathologic confirmation and surgical eradication of musculoskeletal tumors.

Pediatric Orthopaedics
Diagnosis and treatment for children and adolescents with congenital and acquired deformities and acute orthopaedic injuries.

Prosthetics and Orthotics 
Fabrication of artificial limbs, braces and splints.

Spine Surgery
Services include diagnosis and management of disorders of the spine, including trauma to the spinal column and the spinal cord. The program brings together specialists from orthopedics, neurosurgery, and pain management to locate and treat the sources of spine, back and neck pain with the latest, most innovative non-surgical and surgical treatment options.

Sports Medicine
Comprehensive medical and surgical treatment for a variety of sports injuries and disorders. Services include pre-participation screening for athletic teams to identify strength, stability and flexibility deficits.

UVa Hand Center
Complete medical and surgical intervention for injury and disorders of the hand, wrist, forearm, arm and shoulder, including carpal tunnel compression; nerve reconstruction; nerve grafting and nerve repair.
