UVa Health System, Dept. of Internal Medicine, Div. of Endocrinology seeks healthy men and women ages 18 to 30 (non smoker) for research study.

The purpose of the study is to investigate the regulation of Ghrelin, a factor released from the stomach and involves appetite regulation, the development of obesity and diabetes mellitus. The study includes a physical exam, blood tests and 7 overnight stays at the General Clinical Research Center over a time period of about 2 to 6 months.

Payment includes 300 dollars at completion.
