We are recruiting girls with regular, irregular, or no periods (including girls who have not yet had their first period)

The overall goal of the Center for Research in Reproduction is to investigate a medical condition called Polycystic Ovary Syndrome (PCOS). PCOS affects about 7% of reproductive-aged women, and is associated with irregular periods, infertility, excess facial and body hair, obesity, and insulin resistance.
All of our research studies are approved by the Institutional Review Board at the University of Virginia (UVA) and are funded by the National Institutes of Health.
All studies take place in the General Clinical Research Center at UVA Hospital.
Compensation ranges from $75 - $400 (in Visa gift cards), depending in part on the complexity of the study.
Participating girls should not be taking hormonal medications.
