Breast services are provided through a number of areas throughout the health system.

Breast Imaging
Diagnostic, screening and interventional procedures related to breast imaging, including digital mammography and breast MRI, available at multiple locations in and around Charlottesville

Surgical Oncology  (breast cancer surgery)
Specialized surgery for cancers of the breast, skin, gastrointestinal system, liver, pancreas as well as other locations of carcinoma

Endocrine Clinic
Offering a full spectrum of care for adrenal disease, benign breast disease, bone disease, diabetes mellitus, menstrual dysfunction, hypertension, lipid disorders, fertility problems, reproductive disorders in men and women; and thyroid disease, including cancer and thyroid tumor.

Radiation Therapy
Radiation Therapy services are offered at UVA and Augusta Medical Center using the leading radiation technology. Physicians in radiation oncology work closely with other cancer specialists as part of cancer teams so that patients derive maximum benefit from a fully integrated approach.
