Parking

Lee Street East and West Parking Decks

Primary Care patients should park in the west deck, visitors should park in the east deck. Parking is available in the two garages located on Lee Street across from University Hospital. Parking is free to those visiting patients and for clinic visits. For those visiting patients please have your garage ticket validated at the Information Desk located in the main lobby of University Hospital.  Patients please have your garage ticket validated at your clinic appointment. Shuttle bus information is available by notifying a member of the Front Door Team.

Hospital Drive Parking

Limited general and handicap parking is available on Hospital Drive.

West Complex Parking

Handicap parking spaces are available off Jefferson Park Avenue. General parking is  asked to utilize the Lee Street parking decks. A shuttle is available to transport you to the West Complex.  

Handicapped Parking Spaces

Lee Street East and West parking decks, Hospital Drive, and the West Complex. 

Patient Courtesy Shuttles

Passenger shuttle service run regularly between UVa Health System clinical sites, selected parking areas and guest lodging facilities.  Please notify a member of the Front Door Team if you need transportation via shuttle. Get the schedules .

Patient Drop-Off Locations

University Hospital front drive, Primary Care Center Northgate, West Complex, and Hospital drive.

Patient Assistance

The main entrance of University Hospital and the West Complex are staffed with Front Door Greeters to provide patients with wheelchairs and assist with other needs. 

Oversized Vehicles

Vehicles over 6 feet 8 inches are too tall to fit in the parking decks. Pull into the circle in front of University Hospital and obtain a permit from a member of the Front Door Team in order to park in an alternate lot.
