Community outreach may be chapter sponsored events. At times, we may collaborate with other organizations to promote common goals. These efforts may involve screenings, education, fundraising, etc.

The Heart Truth – Women and Heart Disease
Speakers are wanted for a UVA Ambassador's Speakers Bureau on Women and Heart Disease. The aim of thespeakers' bureau is to talk to interested groups in the greater Charlottesville community about preventing and recognizing heart disease in women. The bureau provides a powerpoint presentation and excellent handouts on women and heart disease. Speaker training is alsoavailable if desired.
