The Speech-Language Pathologists of the Department of Therapy Services provide a full range of diagnostic and treatment services for pediatric and adult patients with a wide variety of communication and swallowing disorders. Services are available to acute care inpatients.
Services
Speech-Language Pathologists perform a variety of services. The following are a few of the services offered at UVa Health System. Adult patients are seen at either the Medical Center or the clinics at Fontaine Research Park. Pediatric patients are seen at either the Medical Center (inpatients) or at Kluge Children's Rehabilitation Center on Ivy Road.
