Flexible Endoscopic Evaluation of Swallow  (FEES) is performed by the SLP using a flexible endoscope inserted through the nose that connects to a computer and video monitor.  The swallow function of the throat can be seen on the video screen.
Because the study requires cooperation, it can only be completed with children at certain ages and is arranged after evaluation by one of our SLPs.
