Day Treatment Program

Serves children with a recent Acquired Brain Injury (ABI) as a result of trauma, surgery or tumor, who would benefit from intensive rehabilitation therapy (3-5 days per week) and are able to tolerate up to 3 hours of therapy that may include physical, occupation and speech-language therapy.

SLP provides evaluation and treatment for the  speech, language and feeding issues resulting from the injury such as:

- Aphasia (language loss)
- Dysarthria (speech articulation and voice)
- Cognitive deficits (memory, problem solving and organization)
- Dysphagia (chewing and swallowing)
