Our goal is to improve the quality of life for children and families with special health care needs. We strive to improve functional abilities, decrease activity limitations and encourage active participation at home, school and in the community for each child and their family.
• CLINICAL CARE SERVICES
Our Children's Hospital Physical Therapists are specially trained to work with children from birth to 21 years old with various diagnoses. We deliver individualized family-centered therapy services in a safe, caring environment of clinical excellence designed to encourage parents and caregivers to participate in all aspects of their child's care.
We have three clinical environments in which we focus on the unique needs of children and families.

By virtue of their clinical expertise and broad knowledge of institutional and community resources, our pediatric physical therapists develop treatment plans with families to achieve meaningful patient outcomes. We recognize that you and your child are the most important members of the healthcare team and encourage your active participation in setting team goals and identifying needs that are important your child and family. Our pediatric therapists continue to expand their treatment skills through ongoing educational opportunities, and employ innovative and evidence-based interventions to make your child's treatment sessions more successful and rewarding.

We are constantly engaged in a variety of continuing education activities designed to constantly broaden our clinical expertise. By actively participating in grand rounds, in-services, journal clubs, local and national conferences, case reviews and mentoring, we are constantly improving the high quality of our evidence-based patient care.
