• PATIENT CARE GOAL
Our goal is to deliver individualized patient care conducted in a caring environment of clinical excellence designed to keep patients safe, respect their privacy and help them achieve their goals.
• CLINICAL CARE TEAMS
Our Adult Acute Care team has six clinical rotations that allow us to focus on the unique needs of the many different kinds of patients for whom we care. Our six different care teams are:
|Medicine, geriatrics and cancer||Orthopedics||Neurology and neurosurgery|
|Heart, thoracic and vascular||Surgery||Intensive Care|
• CLINICAL EXPERTISE AND MENTORING
Each clinical rotation is guided by one or more of our experienced senior therapists. By virtue of their clinical expertise and broad knowledge of institutional resources our team leaders ensure that every one of our teams deliver superlative patient care. This enables us to create a unique plan of care for each patient that is based on their particular needs and goals.
• COMMITMENT TO CONSTANT QUALITY IMPROVEMENT
We have a staff of approximately thirty physical therapists, all of whom are committed to our patients, their families and committed to the professional development of our staff. We are constantly engaged in a variety of continuing education activities designed to continually broaden our clinical expertise. By actively participating in grand rounds, in-services, journal clubs, local and national conferences, case reviews and intensive one-on-one mentoring, we are constantly improving the high quality of our evidence-based patient care.
