Pulmonary Diagnostics and Respiratory Therapy

Respiratory Therapy (RT) Service provides patient care services under the oversight of the Medical Director of Respiratory Care and on the orders of a physician, or his/her designee, to assist in the diagnostic evaluation, treatment, care-plan development/management, and education of patients with cardiopulmonary disorders. The patient population served includes all In-Patients (neonatal, pediatric, and adult), Emergency Patient and those Out-Patients requiring specific respiratory therapy services, such as those managed by the KCRC clinics.
