Introducing the Pride in Practice award!
This award is a new way for units/practice areas to be recognized for excellent outcomes. Recipient departments must have demonstrated sustained excellence in one or more Nurse Sensitive Indicator metrics. Based on the quarterly data for these metrics, the Nurse Sensitive Indicator committee will select a recipient each quarter.
This video shares the experience of the presentation to the first recipient of this award: the NNICU- Best Overall Sustained Outcomes for quarter 1 of 2011 presented on August 23rd, 2011.
Congratulations also to 6 Central, the 2nd recipient of the Pride in Practice Award for Sustained excellence in Nurse Sensitive Clinical Indicators for quarter 2 of 2011!
