UVA Connect Remote Access

Guide to Accessing Connect Remotely.

UVA Connect is best accessed through computers at UVA. You may also be able to access the site remotely.

To access Connect from a non-UVA location, you’ll first need a VPN token, either in physical or digital form. 

Steps to Access Connect:

You’ll be asked to enter certain credentials. 

Your Username is your computing ID (usually a five character combination of numbers and letters).
Your Password is the secureID authenticator random number from your token.
Your Outlook/Domain Password is your email password and the password you use for everything Health System related.

You should then be taken to a pop-up box and given the option to “Connect to VPN.”

If this is the first time you are accessing the VPN, you may have to download additional software and then restart your browser before visiting www.uvaconnect.com
