PGY2 Drug Information Residency: Rotations

Rotations will be tailored to previous experience and interests of the resident. The majority of the residency rotations will be completed in the Drug Information Center, including intensive training in all aspects of drug information including literature retrieval and evaluation, formulary management, Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee support, policy/ procedure development, newsletter publication, and medication use evaluation (MUE).  The resident will also be involved in the experiential education of PGY1 Pharmacy residents and Doctor of Pharmacy students. Other required rotations include Administration, Investigational Drug Service, and Medication Safety. The resident will be allowed up to 8 weeks of elective rotations that may include Poison Control, medical writing, pharmaceutical industry, pharmacovigilance, regulatory, and various clinical specialties.
