PGY2-Oncology Residency

Residency Purpose Statement

Pharmacists completing the PGY2-Oncology Residency Program will have the leadership qualities and clinical knowledge necessary to be able to provide excellent pharmaceutical care to adult patients with cancer in the inpatient or ambulatory setting. They will be proficient in educating other health care professionals, students, and patients. The pharmacists will be able to manage, develop, and evaluate their own practice and be prepared to apply for a position as a clinical specialist or practice leader/coordinator/manager.

Recruiting for the PGY2-Oncology Pharmacy Residency

Representatives from UVA Health System will be available during the Residency Showcase on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Booth # 4461. We look forward to meeting interested candidates in Las Vegas.

Additionally, UVA Health System WILL be interviewing PGY2-Oncology Residency Candidates through the Personnel Placement Service during the 2012 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting
