PGY2-Drug Information
Residency Purpose StatementPharmacists completing this program will be equipped with the skills and knowledge to obtain entry-level positions in drug information/medication use policy in hospitals, health systems, academia, industry, managed care, and medical writing. They are experts in analysis of medication-related information, possess superior communication skills, and are proficient in educating other health care professionals and health care professionals in training. They are prepared to serve as organization leaders in development of safe and effective medication use policies and/or processes.
Recruiting for the PGY2-Drug Information Pharmacy ResidencyRepresentatives from UVA Health System will be available during the Residency Showcase on Monday, December 3, 2012 from 1:00-4:00 PM at Booth # 4461. We look forward to meeting interested candidates in Las Vegas. Additionally, UVA Health System WILL be interviewing PGY-2 Drug Information Residency Candidates through the Personnel Placement Service during the 2012 ASHP Midyear Clinical Meeting.
