Residency Purpose Statement

The purpose of the PGY2-Solid Organ Transplantation (SOT) Pharmacy Residency is to prepare residents with the experience, pharmaceutical knowledge, and clinical skills to provide comprehensive care for abdominal organ transplant patients with additional exposure to cardiac, lung, and pediatric transplantation. Graduates of the program will be qualified for a clinical practice and/or academic position specializing in abdominal organ transplantation.

The UVA Health System is looking for a strong resident candidate to be the first PGY2-Solid Organ Transplant Pharmacy Resident at UVA starting in the 2013 to 2014 residency year.
