PGY2 Residency: Application Requirements
The applicant must be a highly motivated individual who desires to obtain advanced education and training leading to an enhanced level of professional practice.

1. |
The applicant must be a graduate of an ACPE-accredited advanced pharmacy degree program or have equivalent experience. |

| 2. | Be licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia by September 1. | |
|
3. |
Have completed an ASHP-accredited PGY1 Pharmacy Residency. |
|
|
4. |
The applicant must submit the following information by the specified deadline: |

academic transcripts |
|
|
d.

curriculum vitae |
|
|
e.
|
three letters of reference from instructors, preceptors, PGY1 program director, or previous employers (reference forms should be submitted with letters) |

An on-site interview with the residency program director, pharmacy administrators, preceptors, and current residents is required. |
