Time Line of Perinatal Continuing Education Program Events
The PCEP Implementation CD gives detailed directions for each step in the timelines shown below, and contains dowloadable files for use by anyone implementing PCEP.

Initial Program: When used in outreach education,
PCEP unfolds over 9 or 10 months, from first contact to final
meeting. |

| 10 weeks: | inventory forms mailed | ||
| 16-17 weeks: | workshops for participating hospital coordinators (each workshop is 2-4 days in length, for coordinators from 2-4 hospitals) | ||
| 20 weeks: | inventory feedback / start-up meetings (1-2 hours) | ||
| 26-28 weeks: | resuscitation workshops (3 hours) | ||

Time between PCEP cycles. The time between the end of one PCEP cycle and the start of another is 3 to 4 years. Various, less intensive, educational activities are used during this period. |

| Continuation Program: Begins approximately 36 months after start of Initial Program, and unfolds over 8 to 9 months. Subsequent cycles continue, each beginning about 36 to 48 months after the start of the previous cycle. | |||
