Patient Satisfaction Intranet
The UVa Health System surveys a sampling of our
inpatient, clinic, ambulatory services, E.D., Continuum, and Psychiatry
patients based on volumes and focus on various quality improvement
initiatives. In most cases, surveys are mailed to patients based on
information that we upload/send to our vendor, Press Ganey,
which then processes the survey data and provides our quarterly
reports.
Patient satisfaction data should be reviewed with all staff members on a regular basis. The Quality Plan addresses benchmark goals that your data should meet or exceed and also suggests processes that can be followed to improve the scores. Equally important, the data and comment reports can also be used to identify and recognize employees and areas that are doing an outstanding job.
