Research and Program Development
The University of Virginia Office
of Telemedicine uses surveys and metrics as research tools to collect
data from patients, practitioners, and partner sites. These data
provide insight into the quality and satisfaction of telemedicine
delivered services at the University of Virginia. This continual
feedback encourages the Office of Telemedicine to evaluate their
practices as they work progressively to maintain their high standards
of service.
Additionally, the University of Virginia Office of Telemedicine has been used as a resource center to mentor fledgling telemedicine programs that are looking to develop and expand their networks and services. If you would like more information about developing a telemedicine program at your institution, please contact the Office of Telemedicine at (434)-924-5470.
