Operation CAMO Calls

We are proud to continue in the tradition of connecting military personnel with their families through the UVA Office of Telemedicine’s Operation CAMO Calls
(Charlottesville-Albemarle Military Outreach) program

The Office of Telemedicine worked in conjunction with the Freedom Calls Foundation, a non-profit organization providing means to connecting military personnel stationed aboard with their families here in the United States. This free communication service allows military families to video-conference with their loved ones in Iraq, Kuwait and Afghanistan.  The Office of Telemedicine proudly supported the Freedom Calls Foundation by offering our connectivity to link deployed soldiers with their family members in the Commonwealth of Virginia through our telemedicine network.

We now offer connection services through our program,
