The Fontaine Laboratory is an extension of the University of Virginia Medical Laboratories.  This laboratory, located in the Clinical Office Building at the Fontaine Research Park, provides limited on-site laboratory testing in clinical chemistry, endocrinology, and microscopy as well as phlebotomy services.

GENERAL POLICIES

The Fontaine Laboratory follows the same general polices outlined on page 1 of this Handbook.  The UVA Medical Center clinical laboratory outpatient test request form should be utilized for ordering laboratory tests.  Requested laboratory services that are not available on-site will be sent to the Medical Laboratories at the Health System main complex.
