The Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Laboratory is an extension of the University of Virginia Medical Center Laboratories.  The Cancer Center Laboratory provides limited on-site clinical laboratory test services in clinical hematology and chemistry.

GENERAL POLICIES

The Emily Couric Clinical Cancer Center Laboratory follows the same general polices as outlined in this Handbook. The UVA Medical Center clinical laboratory outpatient test request forms or Epic should be utilized for ordering laboratory tests. The Cancer Center Laboratory will perform requested services that are available on-site. Requested laboratory services that are not available on-site will be sent by the Cancer Center Laboratory to the appropriate Medical Center laboratory.
