The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program was developed to meet the educational needs of any level of health care provider who must deliver stabilization care to newly born infants, including MD, nurse, RT, or pre-hospital. S.T.A.B.L.E. stands for Sugar, Temperature, Airway, Blood pressure, Lab work, and Emotional support.
The S.T.A.B.L.E. Program at UVa will be taught by a neonatologist and specialists in caring for critically ill children. It is a one-day lecture-based program.
