The Women's Place
at UVA provides comprehensive obstetrical care to women
experiencing both high-risk and normal pregnancies. We recognize the
importance of the family in this process and involve them at every
stage appropriate. Working alongside our physicians and other
specialists, our nursing staff provides exemplary patient care,
supporting the birth process through innovative, family-centered care
that builds on technology and strong coaching relationships with
patients and their families.
