Health System Academic and Research Employee Council
November 17, 2005
The employee council meeting went on as scheduled on this 17th day of November.
Vickie Marsh, School of Medicine , Central Virginia Campaign (CVC) contact was the guest speaker. This year’s goals are to have 25% participation and reach $195,000 in donations. The hospital information desks have extra red envelopes if you loose the one that has been mailed directly to you. There are over 2500 organizations listed so that you can choose the organization you want your money to go to specifically. When you turn in your envelope, you will be entered into the weekly prize drawing. If you turn in your donation to one of the CVC carts outside of either cafeteria, you have an extra chance to win. Dr. Dave Waters is the other School of Medicine CVC contact.
Vickie also presented the Family Medicine’s holiday families. There are three families who are in need of specific items. If she can have the items wrapped or unwrapped by December 9th, she can have them ready to give to the families by the holiday. Please email Vickie to have her pick up the items.
