Windy Forch GNP
Windy Forch grew up in Virginia Beach, Va. Her
undergraduate nursing degree was received in 1976 from the University
of Virginia. She worked in acute care at the Medical College of
Virginia in Richmond for ten years before completing the Masters in
Nursing and Geriatric Nurse Practitioner program there in 1987. She has
worked with Senior Services of the UVA Health System since 1998, after
relocating to Charlottesville from Ashland, Va. Presently, her
responsibilities include development and coordination of programs for
family caregivers of the elderly, chronically ill, or disabled. Windy
is married and has two daughters in middle school. She enjoys
gardening, reading, going to local theater productions, watching her
daughters' sporting events, and attempting to play tennis.
