Controller/Accounting Office
The Controller's Office is the central accounting department of the UVA Health System that handles routine bookkeeping tasks, analyzes transactions, and structures information so it can be used to evaluate the performance of the UVA Health System.
Some of the specific responsibilities of the Controller's Office are:
- Preparation of monthly and year-end audited financials
- PeopleSoft General Ledger & Asset Management System
- Biannual asset inventory
- Leases
- Journal entries and reconciliations
