Pediatric Nutrition for Metabolic Disorders
Mission:
To work with families of children with inborn errors of
metabolism, offer nutrition counseling, and explore the dynamics of
feeding children who require special diets due to medical
conditions.
Services Provided:
Nutrition counseling is available concerning the following
areas
- PKU
- Homocystinuria
- Maple syrup urine disease
- Urea cycle disorders
- Galactosemia
- Diabetes
- Cystic fibrosis
