Renal Nutrition
Mission:
The clinical nutritionists specializing in renal services will use
their vast knowledge and years of experience in renal
nutrition to provide nutritional counseling for the
dialysis and chronic kidney disease patients.
Services Provided:
- Nutrition counseling focused on the guidelines of the National Renal Diet
- Nutrition education utilizing standardized teaching tools developed with the American Dietetic Association's Renal Practice Group
- Individualized sessions to meet each patients needs
- Monthly monitoring of laboratory reports for dialysis patients at several locations including UVAHS, Orange, Zion's Crossroad, Amherst
