Rotation Information
Most of the rotations for the University of Virginia Health System Dietetic Internship take place at the UVA Medical Center. The medical center was founded in 1901 on the grounds of the University of Virginia. Although steeped in tradition, the current state-of-the-art facility opened in 1989. It is a designated Level I Trauma Center as well as a teaching, research and referral center. The UVA Health System Medical Center is fully accredited by the Joint Commission (TJC).
Some rotations take place at sites in the community or off the main medical center grounds.
