Stakeholder Engagement Plan for Development of Personalized Decision Aid Program for Prostate Cancer Treatment Decisions after Radical Prostatectomy

UVa, Department of Radiation Oncology, seeks men over 18 years of age who have had prostate cancer to participate in a research study, consisting of interviews about additional treatments after prostatectomy. The purpose of the research study is to seek the advice of participants about a research program that aims to help patients and doctors make informed decisions about additional treatment (such as radiation therapy) after prostatectomy for prostate cancer. This is called a “stakeholder engagement” study. The study involves a single meeting with the research team, and the meeting is expected to last about an hour. No compensation is provided for this study.
