A 6-Week Randomized, Parallel, Double-Blind, Placebo-Controlled, Fixed-Dose, Multicenter Study to Evaluate the Efficacy and Safety of Lurasidone in Children and Adolescent Subjects with Irritability Associated with Autistic Disorder (D1050325).

The purpose of the study is to evaluate the safety and effectiveness of an investigational medicine to reduce irritability associated with autistic disorder. Study involves blood draws, EKGs, physical exams, psychiatric assessments and taking an investigational medicine or a placebo (inactive pill) every day for 6 weeks. There will be up to 10 visits over up to 10 weeks, each of varying length. Additional information: * Study-related exams, tests and the study medication will be provided at no cost to qualified participants. * Reimbursement may be provided for travel and related expenses for completed study visits.
