Effect of Probiotic on the Innate and Adaptive Host Response to Rhinovirus

The Infectious Disease Study Center seeks healthy volunteers ages 18 to 60 years of age for research study. The purpose of the study is to see if probiotics (‘good’ bacteria) change the way the body responds to a common cold (rhinovirus) given to healthy volunteers. The study will require 12 visits over about 3 months lasting 10 to 60 minutes each, blood draws, and other study related procedures. Compensation for study completion is $750.
