Research Study for Adults with Metastatic Colorectal Carcinoma (mCRC)
A Phase III Clinical Trial Evaluating TheraSphere in Patients with Metastatic Colorectal Carcinoma of the Liver who have Failed First Line Chemotherapy.

UVa Health System seeks adults with metastatic colorectal carcinoma (mCRC) for a research study. The purpose of the study is to improve survival of patients with recurrent or metastatic ACC. This study will test the safety and efficacy of the investigational device TheraSphere® to the standard of care treatment in patients with mCRC. In addition to the chemotherapy, study participants will have physician visits, blood draws, and imaging scans throughout the study. Treatment will continue as long as study participants are tolerating treatment and their cancer is not getting worse. ? Study drug and procedures performed for research purposes will be provided free of charge. ? Participant’s insurance company will be billed for standard of care medication, tests and procedures. ?
