High and Low Dose Topiramate for the Treatment of Alcohol-Dependent Smokers

Do you drink and smoke cigarettes? Would you like to quit? UVA CARE is seeking women and men 18 and older for a clinical trial. The purpose of the study is to see if an investigational medication helps to reduce or stop the use of alcohol and nicotine, making it easier for you to quit. Participants will attend 15 visits over 19 weeks with two follow-up visits, and will receive compensation up to $275 for the completed study.
