Adolescent hormone Study
Ovarian contribution to androgen production in adolescent girls (CBS001)
Burt Solorzano Christine, M
Normal weight and overweight adolescents ages 7 to 17 are needed for a study examining the role the ovaries play in pubertal hormone changes and production of excess male hormones, potentially leading to PCOS. Volunteers will come to the General Clinical Research Center for a physical exam and screening blood tests, followed by two outpatient visits (or one overnight stay and one outpatient visit) for sampling of hormones. One or two doses of two study medications are given. Parental permission is required. Study-related tests and drugs are provided at no charge. email@example.com Principal Investigator: Christine Burt Solorzano, MD
