UVa Health System seeks healthy adults and those with memory or other thinking difficulties for a study that is researching Alzheimer's disease and related disorders. After a phone screen, participation requires an initial visit to UVa that includes an interview with the participant and/or caregivers. The participant will then undergo a physical and neurological examination. He or she will then be asked to complete questionnaires and paper and pencil tasks that measure thinking skills. Additional diagnostic tests such as blood tests or neuroimaging (e.g., MRI scan) may be ordered as necessary (i.e., to clarify diagnosis). There will be no research costs to the participants and no compensation will be provided. For or more information, please contact Colleen Webber at 434-243-5898 or cmn6x@virginia.edu
