Jo Reeder - Rehabilitation Services Manager

Jo Reeder – Rehabilitation Services Manager – Jo has been with Continuum since 2007 and with UVA Health Systems since 1994. She is a Physical Therapist with 30 years experience in a variety of patient care settings both in the UK and USA. Jo has a bachelors degree in Physiotherapy which she earned at King’s College London and a doctorate in Physical Therapy from Shenandoah University VA. She is a board certified clinical specialist in Geriatrics and a Certified Exercise Expert in the Aging Adult. She provides direct patient care in addition to managing the Physical Therapy, Occupational Therapy and Speech Language Pathology services. Her philosophy is that the patient’s home is the ultimate rehabilitation environment. The role of the therapist is to provide each patient and their family the assessment, treatment, training and tools they need in order to function as safely and independently as possible at home.
