Meet Our Leadership Team

Image Maggie Short - Administrator
Maggie Short - Administrator - opened Continuum Home Health Care in Feb. 1995 and currently serves as our Administrator. She has over 30 years of experience in nursing and has an advanced board certification in nursing administration (NEA-BC). Maggie's philosophy of home care is that we strive to meet the needs of our community by providing the home care services patients need.
Image Mary Crandall - Director
Mary Crandall - Director - joined Continuum in February 2006. She has over 20 years of home care experience. She completed her master's degree in community and public health nursing at the University of Virginia. Her philosophy of care is that patients want and need to learn how to better care for themselves. Homecare staff members are responsible for teaching and helping their patients maintain or improve their health status.
Image Daisy Denham - Compliance Coordinator
Daisy Denham - Compliance Coordinator - has been at the University of Virginia Medical Center for 32 years. Her role is that of Compliance Coordinator. Her focus at Continuum is to make sure care complies with regulations to make sure our patients receive the best possible care.
Image John Waldo - Pharmacy Supervisor
John Waldo - Pharmacy Supervisor - has been a pharmacist for 28 years and recently completed his doctorate in pharmacy. John has been at Continuum for 8 years and his philosophy is that patients require infusion services from a company they can trust who will follow through and be sure patients get the medication and supplies they need.
Image Diane Huss - Rehabilitation Services Manager
Diane Huss - Rehabilitation Services Manager - Diane has been with Continuum since the first patient was seen in 1994. She is a physical therapist with almost 30 years of experience in inpatient rehabilitation & home health. Diane is a board certified neurological clinical specialist. She provides direct patient care in addition to managing the speech language pathology, occupational and physical therapy services. Her philosophy is that a patient's home is the ultimate rehabilitation environment. The role of the therapist is to provide each patient & their family the treatment, training & tools they need to function as safely and independently as possible.
