I am a clinical nephrologist with advanced training and expertise in extracorporeal therapies, the use of highly specialized techniques for blood purification. My clinical responsibilities include providing care for patients focusing on prevention and treatment of chronic kidney disease and using specialized blood purification techniques like therapeutic apheresis to treat renal, neurological and hematological disorders. My area of clinical research is looking at new blood purification techniques that are promising for acutely ill patients who have kidney and liver failure. I am also involved in teaching trainees at various levels of medical education. PubMed Search for articles by faculty member » References Balogun SA, Balogun RA, Evans J.
